Frequently Asked Questions
How do I connect to the trailer?
Our trailers take a 2" ball and a round 7-pin electrical connector. While you can use a 4-7 pin adaptor, please know that when using such an adaptor, the trailer’s battery will not be charged by your vehicle during transit.
Do I have to purchase insurance?
Most auto policies cover towed trailers. However, this is liability coverage—not collision. In addition, when our trailer is not connected to your vehicle, it would not be covered. Therefore, additional coverage must be purchased.
Every Camp Boulder RV includes: bowls & plates, can opener, colander, coloring pages & crayons, cooking pots, cutting board, dishcloths, dish soap, dish strainer, disinfectant spray, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, fork, knives, spoons, french press, frying pan, fuel/propane, hot pads, hot water kettle, matches, paper towels, serving fork, serving spoon, Solo Stove, spatula, tongs, and wash bin.
What do I need to do before I return the RV?
Return the RV in the same condition as it was at the time of pickup—clean on the interior and exterior and in full working order.
Remove all personal items and food.
Wash and dry all cookware and return to storage.
Sweep and/or vacuum the interior and wipe all surfaces with disinfectant spray.
Gather any dirty linens and washcloths.
Dispose of all trash.
Wash the exterior.
Ensure fuel levels are equal to or above the level provided at the time of departure handoff. (The Shell Gas Station at 1595 55th Street in Boulder has a car wash, vacuums, and propane tank refill service, so you can get it all done in one spot.)
If you had a positive experience, please give us a 5-star review (Google, Yelp, Facebook, Outdoorsy, etc.)
What is the Cancellation Policy?
We have a flexible cancellation policy which means there is free cancellation for 48 hours after booking (as long as you cancel more than 14 days before departure). If you cancel more than 5 days prior to departure (and the initial 48 hours has already passed): Insurance and 100% of the booking total is refunded. If cancelled 5 days or less prior to departure: Insurance and 75% of the booking total is refunded.
What are the seatbelt requirements for RVs?
It’s always a good rule of thumb to take a safety first approach in any vehicle. That’s why all states require seat belts for every passenger in an RV, including passengers in the cabin area. Your insurance coverage may be denied or adversely impacted as a renter if you, or any of your passengers, do not use seat belts.
Where is pickup and drop-off?
Pick-up and drop-off is at 300 South Broadway in Boulder, CO. The lot is near our home and typically empty.
What time is pickup and drop-off?
Anytime between 8AM-8PM is good for pick-up and drop-off. Just let us know when in that timeframe works for you.
